The Working Group on Energy and Climate Change will held a MEP Dinner Debate on ‘Energy and Climate policy for the countryside’. The event will take place on Wednesday, 25 November 2015 in Strasbourg.

The climate change negotiations in Paris in December 2015, and the Commission’s plans to publish several key energy, environmental and climate-related legislation next year, presents the EU with an opportunity to design associated policies which are truly fit for all areas in Europe.

During this event, Mme Mercedes Bresso, the Chair of the RUMRA intergroup alongside Andrew Ford of SHV Energy will present findings of the recent RUMRA energy consultation and some ideas to guide the way forward for rural energy and climate legislation.
