Official Launch of the Rural, Mountainous and remote Areas Intergroup takes place in Strasbourg, France

On the 12 March 2015, MEPs and partner organisations are to officially launch the RUMRA Intergroup. While activities have been ongoing since the intergroup received official confirmation, this was the first opportunity for the intergroup to lay out its interests and objectives to the public, and in this case, to policymakers.

Meet the Chair of the new Intergroup on Rural, Mountainous and Remote Areas

Born on the 12 of July 1944 in Sanremo, Italy.

She has been Professor of Economics at the Turin Polytechnic University and she has also lectured in Pavia, Udine and at the University of Turin. Expert in environmental economy, she is also author of various books and essays. She is Gran Officer of the Italian Republic.
